…………….a structured yet flexible and creative approach to learning music at the piano

Parents,

Are your children expressing an interest in playing the piano but you are wondering if they are ready for formal lessons?

Are you wanting your children to have an introduction to piano lessons without the necessity of practicing right away?

If you and your children would like an easy approach to beginning piano lessons (you don't even need an instrument), I would encourage you to explore this option.

My desire is to open a door to learning that is meaningful, creative and fun.

I have a strong interest in providing ways for children (and adults) to learn without stress, and to nurture their creativity and joy in learning.

The children will use the piano, toy pianos and other props, and a game-like approach, to explore and experiment with musical concepts in fun ways. The goals are: to build their self-confidence, lay a foundation of musical concepts, and foster a positive attitude towards the piano while they play.

Details:

This approach is geared towards children ages 5-6
Each session will last 8 weeks.
Each class will last between 30-40 minutes and will meet once a week.
Fee:  $160 per student

* Please note, classes will be scheduled as interested groups of 4-6 children are formed.

Do not… keep children to their studies by compulsion but by play.
